Rewrite converter script #49
Description
The converter script is hacky and pretty brittle. In addition to that it has an implicit dependency on FFMPEG.
This could be solved in a nicer and more reliable way. Also all needed dependencies could be specified in package.json so the user does not need to read any further instructions on how to get going.
