Has development forked, or just on hiatus?

Hi guys, I have come to this page daily since the pinephone was released and then continued when I bought the pinephone pro. I have continued to install and test each development version as it was released. Just wondering if everything is alright and if the project is still active. Thanks! (This is not a criticism, just a genuine question)

That is a huge bummer! Lack of manpower? Burnout factor? I really believe in this project, but though I used to be a programmer, I wouldn't have what it takes to tackle this kind of project. I am pulling for you guys! I think this project could be way way bigger than Android or iOS combined! The rise in popularity of Graphene OS and others is an indicator that people are tired of fighting the likes of google for privacy. Thank you for answering!

Is there any further information about the halt on development? I don't mean to pester anyone, but this was the most exciting linux phone OS i have used so far!
