Gemini Code Assist (gemini-code-assist[bot]) currently only reviews PR diffs - no full codebase review trigger exists as of 2026-02-08. Research options: 1) Create a synthetic "full diff" PR (branch from empty tree or first commit, PR against main) to force a full-repo review. 2) Monitor Gemini Code Assist roadmap for full repo review API. 3) Use Gemini API directly (not the GitHub bot) with repo context for codebase-level analysis. If a viable trigger is found, fold into t166 as an additional signal source alongside CodeRabbit. Gemini's review quality on PR #622 was decent (caught real regex issue) but also had false positives - same bot-review verification rules from t166.2 would apply.
