Good detailed analysis! One thing to note: the ntosebpfext code was originally forked from netebpfext, so before consolidating these functions into the common repo, it would be worth checking whether they've diverged — e.g., bug fixes in netebpfext that didn't make it to ntosebpfext (or vice versa). The common repo should incorporate the best/fixed version of each function. |
