## Debugging

For interactive debugging in VSCode, add the following to .vscode/launch.json:

```
{
// Use IntelliSense to learn about possible attributes.
"version": "0.2.0",
"configurations": [
{
"type": "node",
"request": "launch",
"name": "npm run debug:start",
"runtimeExecutable": "npm",
"runtimeArgs": [
"run-script",
"debug:start"
],
"port": 9229,
"outputCapture": "std"
},
"runtimeExecutable": "npm",
"runtimeArgs": [
"run-script",
"debug:test"
],
"port": 9229,
"outputCapture": "std"
}
]
}
```

Set some breakpoints in your code (handlers or tests files), then

1. Click the Run button
2. Select the run configuration from the drop down menu (debug:start or debug:test)
3. Click the play button next to the drop down menu
4. The debugger should then run the code and stop at your first breakpoint
