add test for path selection tool

in particular, we need to test:

1. basic selection
2. interaction between two different Artists (we had problems with selections on plots with two QniteCircle, as soon as the first one reported some selection the other one was skipped)

In particular, this is related to #2 where we fixed some of there multi-artist selection issues
