[BUG] ML4W 2.13. Cannot click on workspaces

Describe the bug

Cannot click on workspaces up top on waybar to move spaces from one to the other. ie. I click on 2 and it does not switch over. I still can do it from keybinds but not from my mouse.

Steps to reproduce

Update, reboot, and try to click on workspaces to switch on waybar.

Expected behavior

switch from 1 to 2 or any other.

If 2.1.3 is using the LUA based config, then that's a known issue with waybar. If you are using arch I believe waybar-git has a patch.

Well I tried the waybar-git but it fails to compile.

I can confirm that this is acwaybar issue. I hope that an update will be released soon. Any idea for a efficient workaround?

Some said changing waybar to ext/workspaces But for me that didn't work.

correct. That's because the bug is the hard wired command waybar uses to move to the other workspace With LUA config that old command no longer works. The shortcuts in 2.13 have been updated to support the new syntax

FYI: On CachyOS, the AUR has waybar-git v15.x... For me that restored the waybar issue with workspaces when you click on them.

Note: Is yay -Ss waybar-git it shows as 13.x but it's 15.x-rc....

Note: On ML4W-OS installed Arch I can't get aur/waybar-git to build It closes the terminal. On CachyOS it works fine. ??

You're welcome. Also on my NixOS project I used the waybar flake vs. NixPkgs w/LUA config and workspaces work fine there too.
