Bug description
I had to make room for new installs and temporarily deleted old installs and assumed HidHide would preserve those cloak regardless of whether or not paths exist.
Steps to reproduce
- start with Windows 10
- install HidHide & DS4Windows
- ensure they are operational and working
- install GTA V
- cloak the main executable (.EXE)
- delete the GTA V installation directory
- install other games
- attempt to add a new cloak
- watch all previous cloaks disappear from the list
Actual result: All user defined cloaks disappear from list and only defaults remain: HidHide.exe and DS4Windows.exe
Expected result: All previous cloaks plus new cloak
Screenshots
I'm not booted into Windows right now - the screen looks exactly like a new configuration of HidHide with the 2 defaults: HidHide.exe and DS4Windows.exe
Machine info
CPU-Architecture: x86
Windows version: Windows 10
Software/driver version(s): is this referring to the version of HidHide or some other driver?
Any other helpful information
I'd like to confirm whether HidHide "cleans up" any cloaks with paths that no longer exist/
If so, I would assert this is a feature that doesn't work as intended.
If this is not the case, then it is something related to adding of the new cloak that nuked my configuration.
I am unable to rebuild my cloak list from memory. If there is a way to somehow retrieve this, this would also be appreciated (but is not the focus on this report, just a side quest :)
