[Bug]: Pasting image into markdown editor no preview

Bug description

On my up to date nextcloud server, when pasting a picture into a markdown file (with the default text editor), either by ctrl+v or drag-n-drop, the real image doesn't paste, I only get this

When clicking onto that image on brave, it opens an about blank, on firefox it opens the actual image.

Steps to reproduce

1. Set up a nextcloud server with the latest stable release on debian behind an apache2 reverse proxy. (According to documentation)
2. Make a new text document.
   3.Paste an image.

Expected behavior

I expect the image to be actually printed out.

Hi @ninoppp, could you provide more information about your setup?
Like PHP version, Nextcloud version, and the other fields in the bug report template?
It is very important to reproduce your scenario.

1. It would be interesting to see what pops in the browser console log when you paste/drop an image.
2. Did you try with multiple images? Does it fail for all of them?
3. Do you see the uploaded image files in the related attachment folder? Enable "Show hidden files" in Files bottom left settings, there should be an attachment directory name .attachments.FILE_ID next to the markdown file.
4. Does it work fine when you insert an image via the top menu ("Upload from computer" and "Insert from Files")?

@juliushaertl Thank you for asking the most pertinent question 😁.

So, I was able to reproduce the issue with Text v23.0.2 and not with stable23 (latest development state for NC 23). Dropped images are inserted in the document content as base64 data. Rendering base64 images has been added after v23.0.2 (#2153) so this will be included in the next Nextcloud minor release.

Image insertion via copy/paste is not supposed to work in NC 23.

Image insertion has changed a lot in NC 24. Drag'n'drop and copy/paste now trigger a file upload.
