Current Behavior

I get an rss feed from dslug and the feed states Movies > UHD which is displayed in the feed preview as "Movies>UHD" (without spaces).

I tried to have a movie category match it. But that does not work.
I have the following alias setting:
ovies;Movies;movies;Movies*;Movies > UHD;Movies>UHD;"Movies>UHD";"Movies > UHD"

other rss feeds are correctly asigned a category if the category is "movie" or "Movie". Maybe the character ">" or "&gt" causes the problem?

Expected Behavior

Match the movie category even with "Movies > UHD" category name provided.

Not working. could it be, that the ">" in the string messes the comparison up, as it is a command in the filter?
Why would "Movies" not match, if your suggested "Movies>UHD" would match? Is there a way to quickly test the matching with test strings?

To be clear, I have a rss of my cart, so I do not need to filter/search in the rss feed. I want to make the items in the feed match my nzbget categories. So the search strings are entered in the categories alias field. I assume, the matching process is the same, right?

I've reproduced your problem and we will work on it
Here's a temporary solution (It depends on what is in your cart):

• If you download only one category via rss feed cart (Movies+Movies>HD+Movies>UHD) You can set the category for added nzb-files via RSS feed setting
• If you download multiple categories via cart rss feed ( Movies+Series+...) The simplest solution for sorting movies and other video files is to use the Video Sort Extension. You can add it via the Extension Manager. VideoSort will automatically sort your movies into the folders you specified.

I have two categories in nzbget "movies" and "tv" one with a fixed target directory and the other triggering sickchill.

I sometimes use drunkenslug.com and nzbs.in and add via their website nzbs from the categories a la "movies" or "tv series" to my cart or bookmark list. I then let nzbget grab the rss feed of these. I did not set a category for the feeds but rather want to use wildcards for the nzbget categories "movies" and "tv" and have the rss feed items matched by those two groups.

the feed for nzbs.in looks like the following (specific data removed but category information untouched):

When I open the rss feed nzbget shows the items with a column "category" that states "TV Shows". For my category "tv" that I want to match I tried multiple patterns "TV Shows", "TV*". None seems to match the item.

Either the matching is not performed or I completely misunderstand the pattern syntax. Is there a way to test the matching?

Drunkenslug uses the weird "&gt" character to attach the subcategory to the main category and I first thought that character would give problems as in the manual it is stated that it is a special character.

If i enter a fixed category for the feed, that works but as I want to have multiple categories matched in the same rss feed, this does not solve it for me.
