Star Rating for products in lists

I use 3 lists, Good, Bad and neutral so I can remember which products I like but it would be much better to save star ratings locally. For example give a product a maximum of 10 Stars.

That would perhaps be a bit confusing to use stars for ratings.
As a user, when I do that (movies in IMDb) I somehow expect the ratings to be public and that an aggregate rating is computed with the data from all users. Would aggregate ratings make sense while showing scientific data? I'm just extrapolating.

What your issue makes me think of is something slightly different: make the lists more obvious/easier to add to+remove from. With icons.
The user would still create personal lists, the lists have name but would also have an attached icon/color.
My "favorite" list would have a red heart icon (as an engineer I have insolently avant-garde ideas) and my so-so list would have a thumb down icon.
And when I look at the product I could see/edit more quickly the related lists.

• which icons? emoji? limited set?
• which colors? take into account the dark and light modes
• activated/deactivated display
