Following the nomination process, I have nominated and other maintainers have agreed to add Pan Guixin (@bugmakerrrrrr) as a co-Maintainer of the OpenSearch repository. Pan Guixin has kindly accepted the invitation.
Pan has been an active contributor to OpenSearch since 2023, adding features, enhancing performance, and fixing bugs in a variety of different areas. For example, Pan created a detailed issue describing a number of problems with the flat_object type. He did a deep dive into the implementation and proposed multiple improvements backed by data to justify the improvements. He then led the implementation with the help of another contributor. He also actively reviews other contributors’ code, and has demonstrated good architectural judgment when providing feedback.
Overall, he has committed 23 pull requests since August of 2023. Some notable PRs merged are:

Allow changing number of replicas of searchable snapshot index
Support index level allocation filtering for searchable snapshot index
Bug Fixes:
Fix exists query for flat object
Use the correct type to widen the sort fields when merging top docs
