[BUG] There are no existing channels. Add a channel to create an action

What is the bug?
When you try to create a trigger, the page say is no channels available but the channels are created

How can one reproduce the bug?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Monitor / Create Monitor
2. Click on Add Trigger
3. Scroll down to Actions
4. See error "There are no existing channels. Add a channel to create an action." but Channels exists

What is the expected behavior?

• OS: Debian 13
• Version Opensearch 3.6
• Plugins

@christianmoreno-ai any other info you can provide like if using multi-tenancy or any cluster settings like filter_by_backend_role?

Perhaps any requests in the network tab of the browser console and also calling the notification channel APIs directly to see if those APIs respond with content?

The problem is that when making the GET request to /api/notifications/get_configs, the config_type parameter is missing. Looking at the stack trace:

at getDataSourceQueryObj1 (alertingDashboards.plugin.js:5:4151034)

This means that the getChannels function in alertingDashboards.plugin.js is being called without a valid configuration type.

No, fresh installation, one server

Perhaps any requests in the network tab of the browser console and also calling the notification channel APIs directly to see if those APIs respond with content?

I did'nt try this, but I seem that is similar to a bug in 2.14 version

Under some configurations, the system shows the issue, changing the configurations you can access to the channerls

I m having same issue. I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6 and it broke my existing monitors. I have workspaces enabled and multitenancy disabled. I posted this in forum https://forum.opensearch.org/t/upgrade-from-3-5-to-3-6-broke-monitors-drop-down-list-of-channels/28064
