This means the AppImage runtime will set that location as $HOME. Is the path you have on the screenshot a fullpath? or does it start wit ~/ or similar? I can't see the entire path on the screenshot so I don't know.

Yes, the idea is have a configuration per game (i only have one game attached to that instance).

Yes, is a full path and is generate automatically when you open the appimage the first time.

Alright, I have no idea why you have that issue with the current appimage. I tested with some title I already have laying around and could not replicate the error you have.

@lucasmz1 Can you try to replicate this issue? The issue of the first comment.

My suspicion is that the hacks I used on the already compiled dolphin binary from the arch repos aren't all that reliable lol, which I means I have to start building again with -DLINUX_LOCAL_DEV=true and hopefully this is the issue.

It's a shame that the old appimage doesn't launch, because if it did and you didn't have the issue about "Could not write ..." then it would have made it more clear that the problem is the lack of -DLINUX_LOCAL_DEV

The appimage works just fine with several gamecube games, but not with this wii game that is the only one that i tested and fail.

I did try a WII title but not the one you said.

Since you mentioned that the other appimage I linked works it is likely the lack of -DLINUX_LOCAL_DEV=true, I would be certain it is that had the older appimage launched and worked on your end, but in any case I had pending start building dolphin again and I'm already pushing such changes on another branch.

If the issue is still present even with -DLINUX_LOCAL_DEV=true then I need to start doing proper troubleshooting with the title you mentioned.

As an aside, it would help me to know if any of you know where to get an appimage for that project: mupen64plus/mupen64plus-ui-python#231?

python apps are notoriously hard to make AppImages of, the only one I have is this one and the build has been failing for a month because the pip package I was using to make the AppImage stopped installing lol

What i need is a modern appimage for a GUI emulator of n64 that works. There are some emulator, but for example, this appimage not works: https://github.com/Rosalie241/RMG. This other project have not any recently one: https://github.com/project64/project64 This another more have not one: simple64/simple64#461

Update tested with the title you mentioned and I can save and all of that.

Yes this version works, for all games i tested before on GC and Wii. Also works for the N64 emulation for GC. No problem detected.
