Operate the Prelude platform CLI (prelude) for both Detect and SCM:

• Detect - Continuous security testing: manage endpoints, schedule and run security tests, view results, manage threats and threat hunts
• SCM (Security Control Monitor) - Endpoint posture and policy evaluation: query endpoints/users/inboxes, evaluate security control policies, manage exceptions, generate reports

What the agent can do

• Set up and authenticate the Prelude CLI
• Query endpoints, tests, threats, and activity across Detect and SCM
• Schedule and manage security tests
• Integrate with EDR/XDR partners (CrowdStrike, Defender, SentinelOne, etc.)
• Evaluate security control policies and generate reports
• Create and manage security tests, detection rules, and threat hunts
• Generate tests from threat intel PDFs and partner advisories

Prerequisites

• Python 3.10+
• prelude-cli v2.6+ (pip install prelude-cli)
• A Prelude Security account
