Not able to login with admin anymore

This plugin works great, however, after enabling the "AD" security realm in sonar.properties, I am no longer able to login with the existing "admin" user. I am getting the "Authentication failed" error message.

Sorry for the late reply. Didn't notice your message until today.

The plugin redirect all the logins requests to ActiveDirectory. If you want to use the default 'admin' user, then you will have to create that user in Active Directory.

What if I'm not able to create new users in Active Directory? Isn't there a way for the plugin to first check the internal Sonar user database before trying to authenticate through AD? Or something similar to what the Jenkins AD plugin does (auto-creates new internal users when successfully authenticating through AD).

Ok. I understand what you are saying.

I have made code changes to use database authentication for 'admin' user, rest of the users will use Active Directory for authentication. Please see if this change works for you.
