Could you capture the rules for name-spacing and file-placing (e.g. in readme)? |

That's a good idea. The readme is getting pretty long. Maybe a "guide for contributors" linked from the readme? We could include the aforementioned conventions but also discuss pull requests, testing conventions, etc. |

The changes to master are too extensive. This branch is horribly broken. I will revisit later. |
