[Bug]: Link actions break if edited to be a non-link

Bug Description

App freezes when I try to use the Link actions.

i guess at least letting me go pack to the previous menu. I don't think I understand this feature to be honest.

Ohhh this is a requested feature.. Mostly not needed for Pixels as we can edit clipboard already. How it works is that you set Essentials as the default browser on the device. So then when you open a link from an app, this prompts you to open it with any supported app or share to other sharable apps. But I guess you found a bug where I forgot to handle non links 😁

It's like a link interceptor especially useful if you got multiple browsers for multiple use cases but don't wanna have a default. I barely browse on mobile so even I don't use it often.

I have another request—it’s similar to that feature, but I’m honestly not sure if it’s possible since I haven't seen anyone else do it yet! 😅

Here is the situation: I use YouTube Music ReVanced, which uses a different package name than the official app to prevent the Play Store from overwriting it. The problem is that some system features—like the Pixel's 'Now Playing' ambient sound—specifically check for the official package name. Because the names don't match, I can't jump straight into the app from the search result.

I currently have to share the song to my browser just to trigger the option to open it in YouTube Music.

It would be awesome if there were a way to intercept that package check and redirect it to the ReVanced version!

I took a look into it but from what I see, it does not use any shared components or share sheet instead doing it's own thing. So might not be possible... Especially since the share action only gives a google search.

A kind of workaround or rather an accessible method might be to use a scrobbler.. I use PanoScrobbler to track both my listening tracks and also the tracks getting detected by nearby playing... Still i do not see a way to directly open it in the player tho...
