The original text section that is being copied and pasted is,
- Upload coded admission from evening before and the morning. If a
weekend, pull Friday to Monday morning.
- Upload new admission and choose, based on terminal digit, new admits to
start concurrent reviews on.
a. Sometimes, the stroke committee nurse will give a heads up on stroke
admits and those are picked up for concurrent review.
- Review non-reconciled charts and send messages to Lead Coder regarding
charts that are not reconciled. Include coding guidelines and documentation
to support the request for the change of the code/codes… VERA, proper
sequencing, DRG change, etc.
- Concurrently review charts
a. Look for additional MCC and CC opportunities
b. Look for opportunities to raise CMI - dx or px related
c. Treatments without diagnosis
d. Abnormal labs not documented
The Quill editor re-formats the text and replaces the sub-list/bullets from a,b,c etc to numbers like 1,2,3 etc.
Is there any way to keep the original formatting of bullets and numbers after copy and paste from MS word or other external documents?
Thanks
Abu Kamal
