Issues with Spell Check

Hmm, that's odd. What SKU are you running?

By SKU, I'm going to assume you mean my version. On your new bleeding edge update.

Fedora 43, an older AppImage that I downloaded from your site like 8 months ago or so.

To be clear, I'm a terrible speller and it was def working before the update.

Unfortunately I have nothing else I can contribute at the moment.

I'm not sure what happened or what the cause was, but my spell check seems to be working again?

I have no idea what goes on with the back end on all that, but maybe something at the OS level of something updated and now it works again?

Anywho. I'm going to close this. If you for whatever reason believe there is something at the Tangent level that needs work in this area, by all means, feel free to reopen it (and ask me if you need any system information from me).

I'm going to go ahead and close it, though. I can't reproduce it, so. I'm not sure why I'd personally keep it open. If I'm wrong for that, lol, sorry. Feel free to reopen it ahaha.

I'd like to also chime in and say, I'm really quite pleased at how infrequently I'm finding obvious bugs. It says a lot about how far Tangent has come and whatnot. Really appreciate your hard work and contribution to the world.

Okay, we are back hahaha. I have no clue what has changed other than powering down my computer and opening it back again the following day. I don't believe I've done any system updates, etc since then.

I also don't know how much of this is done by Tangent itself or what kind of external dependencies it relies on.

I'm guessing I got lucky yesterday and the spell check was working.

If I notice it start working again, I'll try to see if I recall anything I did differently that might hint as to why it started working.
