@eccles I recently released v1.3.0, and you can find macOS binaries in the release assets.

Please feel free to reach out if something does not work as expected. It would also be great if you could confirm that the macOS binaries work well, as I'm not a macOS user and have not tested them myself, but the CI build and common tests passed without issues.

One suggestion I have is that the packaging of the executables in the release is inconsistent. For macos the intel label is x86-64 but for linux it is amd64.

It is a good idea to package stuff according to the output of uname -s and uname -m. This makes it much easier to install without any special logic.

uname -m is x86_64 or arm64
uname -s is Linux or Darwin

so the package for a macbook is Darwin-arm64.tar.gz
