Animation effects

Would be nice to have some kind of animation effects applied to pictures so they're not completely static. For example, Jellyfin screensaver shows movies/tv shows posters, but they are very slowly zooming in and then very slowly zooming out, to some very small degree. However, it creates an interesting effect that is lacking on the static slideshow AerialViews provides.

I think I mentioned it previously, or it was suggested before, but a feature like that (Zooming slowly, Ken Burns etc) will be coming soon-ish. I'm in the middle of an app re-write so that feature is very easy in modern Jetpack Compose apps.

I'll update you when I've made some progress.

I used to have a MCE home theatre PC and its screen saver was amazing Iv waited for years for something like this to replace it.
Is there a way at the moment to get pictures to fade in and out of each other without going to a blank screen?

It's planned and will be part of the app rewrite as the current architecture doesn't allow for it.

The rewrite will allow for full image crossfading and partial video fading (as Android can't crossfade videos unlike iOS)
