There should be a universal search that searches for the job by id.

@timgit This seems simple enough, I can pick it up. That said, I don't see an existing index just for a job id, so it's likely that the lookup will be very inefficient for large DBs. is that acceptable, or an extra index should be added?

I assumed the request was to follow the same pattern used by the current findJobs(), where you first have to know the queue.

@timgit Would user always know the queue? Maybe all they have is a job id from the logs. I would keep lookup just by job id even if it's not super efficient, as it may be convenient in some cases

I can also add more efficient search within selected queue, passing name of that queue.

True, you can have an optional dropdown for selecting the queue. If the user knows the queue, then they will select, else just by job id
