Adding Pids of other cars

Thanks for the great app, you have done a great job.

But I would like to add my pids for mazda auto, I have built the app from source and uploaded to my google play console for AA to work. Could you please point out where I can add my values? As I understand in the form of json files. From the default profile I only have a couple of values working correctly.

I have added example that shows how to integrate custom PID files. In this branch you will find details.

There is added custom example PID file mazda.json and custom profile that uses this PID file mazda_profile.properties

You can select Profile from this menu

just one clarification.
is it required to re-build the app to implement new PIDs and profile?
or there is a way to add new PIDs and profile without re-building the app?

Hi @Strelica12,

Profile can be configured in the app, however if you have new PIDs, its better to rebuild the app, especially if you have app in the google play and you want to distribute these new PIDs to the end users across the globe.
App does not have any backend connectivity/support so these PIDs cannot be pulled from central place at runtime which is common pattern in commercial solutions.

I will try to play a bit to use the same app for my Mazda and Alfa.
it's coincidence you put Mazda as an example in your previous post :)...

I'm not so familiar with creating the apps etc... but it's never late to learn something new :)

@Strelica12, creating the app is not the challenge. Providing right PIDs and formulas requires some research work, and is not so obvious. Good Luck :).
