With version 2.4.0, rmagine introduced an additional backend for ray casting: Vulkan. This could be adapted and added here as an additional simulator. In theory, this backend would allow LiDAR simulation on any GPU that supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing (not only NVIDIA GPUs). Therefore, I think this would be a valuable addition to this package.

The implementation should be straightforward, as it can closely follow the existing simulators.
