The PR GNU test has around 700 test failures and I'm hoping to start chipping away at them 1 by 1. The first one that impacts around 30 tests is that even though the -b flag is not used it is expected to be parsed without throwing an error. This just adds this options as a hidden flag and will not fail if the b flag is provided. I also added a simple regression test.
