So Microwin deleted and not exist for now? |
yep |
What should I do now? Why did you decide to uninstall microwin? It was very convenient and I always used it. What's the clean installation method now? |
ntlite or tiny11 builder and someone else is remaking microwin it well be announced in the discord when its done |
In my opinion, removing MicroWin from the WinUtil project is a poor idea. I had great confidence in this tool and have ambivalent feelings about its replacements. |
please enable microwin its a great tool why did you guys deleted it. were there too many bugs please bring it back the next update |
It's completely unclear how to launch it, why is everything so complicated, and there's no way to save drivers. Bring back Microwin! |
download https://github.com/CodingWonders/MicroWin/releases/download/MW_0.1/MicroWin.zip than unzip it than run it and and save drivers well get added eventualy |
It's a real shame that the MircoWin tool has been removed from the project. It made a lot of sense in the project and was a lot of fun to use to create a basis for an installation that could then be further edited with "Install" and "Tweaks." Please reconsider this decision. |
eventualy https://github.com/CodingWonders/MicroWin well have all the feature and more from the old microwin and it well not be added back |
I don't disagree with the decision since microwin really is a separate concern than the rest of WinUtil, but you might consider adding the proposed microwin alternatives (ntlite and tiny11 builder) to the main readme for now and point people to that since this is inevitably going to be a hot topic for the foreseeable future. |

Thanks for explaining the decision to fork on your YT video. I absolutely support your call on this. |
Really should have waited until the new MicroWin was at feature parity before removing it from Winutil. I get the need to remove it, but it doesn't boad well when we are given a half baked alpha with the hollow promise of "it'll be like the old one eventually." Just feels like a rushed knee jerk decision as opposed to a well thought out plan of action. |
yep your totaly right |
