Is the selection background color in the nix run .#testbed:bottom:light testbed supposed to look like this:

Apologies, I added a testbed and then just tested dark mode, assuming that light mode would look fine. Will go back and fix this once I get the chance.

Looking at the configuration options, bottom currently does not support a global bg_color option. So far, if I set widgets.text.bg_color = base00, I get the following:

I have opened an issue here, and plan to submit a PR to add this feature.

Could you remove the seemingly unrelated and noisy commit 1b7bc78 ("treewide: deprecate manual targets.${target}.useWallpaper.enable options (#2084)")? If this is cherry-picked to resolve merge conflicts, just rebase on top of the master branch.
