A rolling upgrade from oss Elasticsearch to the default distribution of Elasticsearch is significantly different than a full cluster restart to install a plugin and is again different from starting a new cluster with xpack installed. So this adds some basic tests to make sure that the rolling upgrade that enables xpack works at all. This also removes some unused imports from the tests that I modified in PR elastic#30728. I didn't mean to leave them.

Thanks for reviewing @jasontedor! I've merged and backported to 6.x and 6.3. @ywelsch, I've merged this to help with testing our default distribution rolling upgrade but since 6.x and 6.3 don't manage the upgrade at all I wasn't able to test this against the default distribution. Meaning, when you go to test #30743 against this code in 6.x and 6.3 it might not run cleanly because there is a problem with the test that I didn't catch on backport. I did get a clean run of it on 7.0 but the rolling upgrade on that branch is totally different. |
